AAP party will give its support to UPA candidate Meera Kumar in Indian Presidential Election 2017

The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of AAP Party, headed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has decided to support the opposition candidate Meera Kumar.

In a prestigious Indian presidential election 2017, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has announced to support the opposition candidate ( UPA Candidate ) Meera Kumar. Sanjay Singh said, “The Committee of Political Affairs (PAC), headed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has decided to support the opposition candidate Meera Kumar.”

He said that the representatives of the former Lok Sabha Speaker had called Kejriwal and sought his support. Aam Aadmi Party’s, has 67 MLAs of Delhi, besides 20 MLAs from Punjab, plus four MPs, has more than 9,000 votes.Which is less than one percent of the total vote in the presidential election. Sanjay Singh said that one should support Meera Kumar, because in the present circumstances the opposition has a big role to play in the country.

Before Arvind Kejriwal, In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP’s opposition Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party felicitated Meera Kumar by pressing her flower. Akhilesh Yadav as a party president could not assure her of getting all the votes of his party as Mulayam Singh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav has already committed to supporting NDA Ram Nath Kovind.That is why Meera Kumar did not try to reach out to them.
