Ajay Thakurs team stunned Patna Pirate in first game of Prokabaddi 2018

The much anticipated Prokabaddi 2018 started today and 1st game was played between three-time champions Patna pirates and Ajay Thakur led Tamil Thaliava.

The season is new so as the teams are. Last year Tamil Thalava was the new team, with some inexperienced player but this time they had Manjit Chillar, Jasveer Singh, Ajay Thakur, Amit Hooda, C Arun.  A strong defender and balanced raider like Surjeet Singh.

On other hand raiding with high expectation 3-time winner, Patna pirate seems very weak in their defence with no experienced player in their defence line.

Though they have a superstar of Pro kabaddi#Pardeep Narwal alone Pardeep was not able to make a win for their team, this he also not had the backing of Monu Goyat.

The match started with Tamil Thaliva taking lead against Patna Pirate. Manjeet Chillar, Amit Hooda did not allow any raider of Patna take a point and Ajay Thakur and Jasveer keep on taking lead.

As a result by Halftime Patna Pirate got all out for two times, and by halftime, the score was 8-26 in favour of Tamil.

Ajay thakur made a super 10 at 16 minute only, you can imagine the kind of form he is in.

The game was always in the control of Thamil Thalaiva, Pardeep Narwal tired hard made his super 10 as well, but did not get any defence support and raiding as well.

In the end, Tamil Thaliva triumphs the game with 26 Pat-42 chennai  And make it their 1st win in their home ground. ( As they did not win any game in their home turf last year) . This is a signal what this tournament is going to be in future the teams are a strength of the team is completely different.
