The defending champion and two times trophy holder Patna pirate is one of the smartest bidders for Pro Kabaddi Auction.  They have retained the raid machine and dubki master Pardeep Narwal. 

Pardeep is Patna main weapon this season also. They have brought Sachin and Jaideep in their defense line.  They have also kept Vishal mane who in Bengal until last season and Monu Goyat.  They also tried to bid for Rohit Kumar season 3 star for Patna Pirates but they miss the bid and Rohit went for Bengaluru bulls.
