Indian Sikh Women Nikki Randhawa to be the UN Representative from Trump Govt.

After winning the with thumping majority, The elect president of United State  Donald trump is busy in forming his new team to “Make America Great Again “. In his new team sources are confirming thatndian Sikh Women Nikki Randhawa to be his ambassador to the United Nations, two sources familiar with the decision confirmed.

Nikki Randhawa better known as Nikki Haley is a rising star in the Republican Party. She is a daughter of Indian immigrant. Currently she is as the 116th Governor of South Carolina since 2011. Prior to becoming governor, she represented Lexington County in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. 

Haley has stated that, as the daughter of immigrants, she believes the immigration laws should be enforced. She voted in favor of a law that requires employers to be able to prove that newly hired employees are legal residents of the United States, and also requires all immigrants to carry documentation at all times proving that they are legally in the United States.

As Indian American is holding important position in UN, it will be huge moral booster for Indian diplomacy as a same time it can be blow to Pakistan.

US representative in US will be an very important and critical portfolio, we have seen lot of differences in Obama administration with Russia and other country’s on the matter of Seriya and Iraq. Hope this new leadership change will create new and more cohesive  world diplomatic relations.

Haley’s husband, Michael, was deployed for nearly a year in Afghanistan with the S.C. National Guard in 2013.

Her nomination would have to be confirmed by the Senate.
