 Gangtok is the capital city of  Sikkim and situated in east Sikkim at the height of 5480 feet above see level. Gagtok is a premier tourist spot in north east India. Gangtok city overlooks Ranikhala river which meanders in the valley below the city. The snow clad mount Kanchenjunga and its ranges can be seen from the east of Gangtok city. You can go to famous excursion place like  Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir , Nathula Pass from here.

After east most memorable place of Sikkim state is North Sikkim,It covers the largest area of four district of the state and least populated. Mangan is the district headquarter of North Sikkim. The unique traditional law of a Zumsa practiced since olden day’s is still prevalant in Lachung and Lachen.
