Thailand Book Their Spot In The Semis After a Nail Biting Win Against Japan : KWC 2016

In a nail biting game of Kabaddi World Cup last night Thailand beats Japan with 37-33 point in favor of Thailand. It was important for Thailand to win the match to reach into semi’s safely. On other side Japan had to win the game with margin more than 34 point. All round game played by both the teams, by the end of half time score was 17-17. Brillient game played by Kazuhiro Takano and Masayuki Shimokawa from Japan but it was  Thailand Captain Khomsan Thongkham was exceptional as he led his side brilliantly and was the top scorer of the match with 10 points to his name.

With this win Thailand  finish at top of the table in Pool B, will play India while Iran will face Pool A toppers South Korea.

Earlier  this match Bangladesh beat Argentina with convincing margin of 67- 26. The south American side remained winless in the Kabaddi World Cup.

Bangladesh’s Tuhin Tarafder and captain Aruduzzaman Munshi scored 16 and 13 points respectively. but unfortunately this win for Bangladesh would not effect points table as they finises 3rd in a group B.
