Goa is safest place female in India, U.P & Bihar are least safe for women

on a day to day basis we read a newspaper report regarding the violence against women in India. Because of this, the discussion has stated that women in this country are not safe anymore. The government is also making millions of attempts to protect women. A recent report revealed that Goa is the safest state for women.

According to the Gender Vulnerability Index (GVI) released by Indian govt. Goa is the safest state for women in the country. and safest for alone women traveler. The Gender Vulnerability index has determined this rating on different parameters. These parameters are health, education, violence, poverty. This list is been issued by plan India.

Other then Goa. Manipur, Sikkim, Mizoram is also safe for women. Bihar, UP, Jharkhand came last. Some years back thomsan returs gave a list which mentions Delhi the worst state for women. But this list issued by India Delhi is in last 5 but before Bihar & UP.
