Meet the 12 Captain’s of Pro Kabaddi 2017 team’s : PKL 5 update

Pro Kabaddi season 5 is getting started from today at Hyderabad after the lavish opening ceremony today the 1st match will be played between Telugu Titans VS Tamil Thalaivas. Before starting the event you should know the player, who is going to lead the team in this season of Pro Kabaddi.

So let’s Meet the 12 Captains of Pro Kabaddi 2017 teams :

Anup Kumar ( Umumba)

Anup Kumar is the captain of Umumba since the 1st season of Pro Kabaddi league. He has led the team to finals 3 times and won the cup 1 time in season 2. Anup Kumar is also the captain of Indian Kabaddi team which won the Worl Cup. He is one of the finest Kabaddi players and Captain India has ever produced.

Rahul Choudhary ( Telugu Titans )

Rahul Choudhary  the poster boy of Pro Kabaddi is leading the side of Telugu Titans, from which he is associated since season one. He with Rakesh Kumar will lead the side. Rahul Choudhary was able to get his side to semi’s 2 times but could not able to convert it to the trophy.

Pardeep Narwal ( Patna Pirate )

Patna the team which is winning the league since last 2 year, has given the task of leading the team to Pardeep Narwal, who played the biggest role in the win of Patna Pirate, you can say he is been rewarded by the team management this year. Pardeep initially played with Bengaluru Bulls then from 3rd season with Patna and led Patna to win finals.

Surjeet Singh ( Bengal Worrier )

Surjeet Singh, the player from services, who was with Umumba until last season will play with Bengal worrier this year, not only he will play with Bengal, he would lead the team in the league. Surjeet is a great defender of the left corner and played a great role in winning the world cup for India. Though Bengal worrier also has Kun Lee their star rider but team management choose Surjeet to give Indian touch to their squad.

Manjeet Chillar ( Jaipur Pink Panthar )

Manjeet Chillar, the most valuable player of the tournament last year, this year will play with Jaipur Pink Panther. He is going to lead the team, though the last year captain of Jaipur ” Jasvir Singh” is still with the team but, management decided to give the command to a most experienced player of India Manjeet chillier.

Rohit Kumar ( Banguluru Bulls )

Though Banguluru did not retained Rohit this year, but they managed to get him back through auction. Banguluru got Rohit with whopping 83 lakh rupees. Rohit is going to lead the team in the pro Kabaddi. Rohit is great raider as well ass he is quite good in cover reagin.  Rohit comes from services background and efficient in taking the multi point and he has also played a vital role in Patna pirate winning in season 3.

Surindar Nada ( Hariyana Steelers )

Jindal group has made an entry to Kabaddi by buying Haryana team. They have chosen Surindar before the auction and made him the captain. Surinder is India’s best defender got most super 5 in last world cup. Surindar initially was with Umumba than Banguluru Bulls now he will lead Hariyana Steelers.

Nitin Tomar ( UP Yoddha )

Nitin Tomar another service player, who is also the highest paid player this year with 93 Lakh, will lead UP team owned by GMR group. Nitin is an exeptional raider and a good cover player.

Dipak Hooda ( Puneri Paltan )

Puneri Paltan, which was led by Manjeet Chiller last year, this year will be led by Deepak Hooda. Deepak was highest point taker from Pune team last year.

Meraj Sheykh ( Dabang Delhi )

Meraj Sheykh will lead the Dabang Delhi team this year, which was led by Kashiling Adake until this year. Meraj is an allrounder player and was superb in last year league.

Sukesh Hegde ( Gujrat Super Giants )

Sukesh Hegde the Telugu titan super star untill last year, will lead Gujrat team this year. Gujrat is one of the four team which have entered this year into the tournament along with Haryana, Tamil & UP. Gujrat team is owned by Adani Group of India. will be led by Sukesh Hegde and Fazal atrachali as vice captain.

Ajay Thakur ( Tamil Talaivas )

Ajay Thakur Indian raiding sensation, who was with Puneri Paltan in last and Banguluru bulls in initial 2 seasons, will lead the side this year.
